MBA RESEARCH GROUP

Volunteer role as Business Advisory Council Chair (July 2025-Present), supporting MBA Research’s initiatives within the business community in three distinct ways:
• Outreach: BAC members work to increase participation in ExecNet, the primary method for the ongoing validation of MBA Research National Business Administration Standards.
• Expertise: BAC members provide insight into workforce trends and issues impacting business operations and careers as well as providing feedback on MBA Research products and services via quarterly meetings and Focus Groups.
• Advocacy: BAC members advocate for ethics education as a critical workplace skill and for Perkins refunding.

I have also served as a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2023 and have participated in the wider Business Exec Network since 2012.

STAGE ONE FAMILY THEATRE

Volunteer role leading the Board of Directors for a professional theatre for young audiences, serving over 60,000 students annually

• Board Chair, June 2023 - May 2025, leading due diligence and merger process bringing together two 
• Vice Chair, June 2022 - May 2023
• Marketing Committee chair, June 2020 - May 2022
• Business Strategy: Act as a sounding board and advise executive leader on organizational strategy—pulling on twenty years of cross-functional theatre experience
• Business Model Design: Successfully lead board of directors and executive leader through consideration, due diligence, and merger negotiations to combine two youth theatre focused organizations into a combined, diversified business model driven by mission and sustainable programming
• Leadership: Guide governance of the non-profit organization and support of merger and organizational integration through leading the board as the Board ChairVolunteer role leading the Board of Directors for a professional theatre for young audiences

FUND FOR THE ARTS NEXT GROUP

• Nationally recognized 10-month program dedicated to preparing the next generation of emerging professionals for volunteer leadership roles within the arts community.
• Team lead for consulting project with Kentucky Center for African American Heritage to design framework, marketing strategy and implementation plan for new membership program.

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL

• Board Member for landmark non-profit arts & culture organization.
• Produced annually since 1956, the Kentucky Derby Festival has become a whirlwind of more than 70 special events, drawing annual attendance of 1.5 million. The festival is a signature spring event for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and brings together the community in ways big and small.
  
• Served on Event Committees for Spelling Bee (Chair), Tour de Lou Cycling Event, Spring Fashion Show and as Pegasus Parade Ambassador.

LE PETOMANE THEATRE ENSEMBLE

• Board Member and Board President for non-profit community theatre group.
• Led marketing strategy planning and assisted with media buys and copywriting.
